Murray River Ecology

Students are introduced to the Murray River ecology through a boat trip and landings. They observe bird and marine life, visit an Aboriginal midden and see the effect of human and environmental changes to the Murray River landscape.

Murray Mallee Ecology

Students explore an area of Murray Mallee, observing the environment and wildlife, visiting an abandoned homestead, hiking through a section of scrub and observing relics of pioneer settlement.

Sunnydale Farm Adventures

Students travel to Sunnydale Farm by bus where they observe sheep-shearing and wool-sorting. They have the opportunity to observe and sometimes hold Australian wild-life and participate in a variety of old colonial pastimes.

Swan Reach Museum

Students visit the Swan reach Museum and explore the history of the local area.
